The combination of alpha-S1 casein tryptic hydrolysate and probiotics is designed to promote calmness by helping to:

• Promote calm behavior in dogs and cats during stressful external events or changes in the environment, such as changes in routine or living environment, travel, thunderstorms, loud noises, or visits to the veterinarian.
• Maintain normal and appropriate social interactions.
• Encourage positive behaviors such as play and seeking social contact.

Recommended Dose

Size <10 kg

Dogs and cats <5 kg = 1 sachet of 1 g once per day

Dogs and cats 5 to <10 kg = 2 sachets of 1 g once per day

Size 10 kg and over

Dogs and cats 10 kg to <15 kg = 1 sachet of 1 g once per day

Dogs 15 kg to <25kg = 2 sachets of 1 g once per day

Sprinkle the contents of the sachet onto your pet's usual food. For dogs and cats older than 6 months. Administer at the same time of day for optimal effect.

Begin administration 1 to 2 days before a planned external stressful event (such as travel, moving or fireworks) and continue for 3 days after the event.  For unexpected external stressful events, administer on the day of the event and then for 3 days after the event. 

For prolonged periods of stress (e.g. major changes in the environment or during a training/behavior modification period), the recommended duration of use is 30 days; use can be extended up to 56 days.
